Driving Instruction & Education

Our monthly New Driver Education course is a 16 hr. State certified course and consists of 8 hrs of classroom instruction and 8 hrs of one-on-one, in car training. This is designed for someone who has never had their license before. Students participate in the classroom instruction on a Saturday. Classroom instruction can be completed before or after they get their learner’s permit. The 8 hours of in the car or behind the wheel training is scheduled and completed prior to their road skills exam. Pricing includes a road exam.

We offer complimentary pick up from Student’s School, Work or Home in Kenai/Soldotna

8 Hours of classroom instruction geared to help new drivers learn the rules of the road and prepare for the written driver’s permit exam.

Discount programs do not apply to New Driver Courses or Road Exams.

All appointments have a 48 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. Cancellations/reschedules less than 48 hours prior to training or exams will not be refunded or applied to future appointments.

All new driver driving courses must be paid in full at the time of scheduling. Students wishing to withdraw from a new driver course must give 2 weeks notice. Rescheduling is at the discretion of KPDI. Driving lessons may be cancelled/rescheduled once due to unforeseen circumstances. Additional cancellations or rescheduled driving lessons may result in additional fees.
